Catapult Attack - A Bromley resident's dog was seriously injured. Better Bromley liaised with senior police officers - and set up a GoFundMe page to help with vet bills.

"In late November 2025, my dog Sabre was attacked by youths with catapults whilst I was walking her in St Paul's Cray Park.  A 30mm ball bearing hit Sabre in the face; causing extensive damage. Her eye was so damaged - it had to be removed, and the emergency vet bill was colossal. From the moment Carol (Better Bromley) heard about the attack, she was not only immensely supportive; creating a gofundme page, but she also advocated on my behalf and spoke to senior Police Officers, including Commissioner Mark Rowley, regarding the escalation of these attacks in the borough, especially in the Orpington area. Carol has been a beacon of light, care and strength; supporting  me through a very dark time in my life and seeing me through to brighter days."
