An unauthorised HMO had been set up next door to a Bromley Town resident - we acted as an advocate to ensure the council did more in terms of enforcement.

She assisted with researching the relevant legislation and helped to highlight inefficiencies within the Council, including the lack of coordination between planning, building control, and licensing. She has also raised challenging questions at full Council meetings regarding the proliferation of unauthorised HMOs and the Council’s insufficient enforcement action, ensuring the issue was formally brought to the Council’s attention."
